May I take this opportunity to offer my congratulations and best wishes to the
prospective parents and, of course, the proud grandpa-to-be.

That is wonderful. Congratulations all around to all Moores and Reppions involved, both directly and indirectly.
Is it too early to start guessing at names? I say they'll pick "Alan" if it's a boy (for obvious reasons), and "Eve" for a girl (but only because Warren Ellis already named his daughter "Lilith"). |

"Eve" for a girlHow about "Evey" for a girl and simply "V" for a boy, then??

Just as long as they stay away from "Adrian."

Joel Free Mason Reppion?
Depending on the nature of her relationship with her father, who knows? |

Leah enjoys a pretty damned close relationship with daddy dearest (no, not like that... sickos). Now, if it were sibling Amber who was due to bear forth a
grandchild for the Grand Master, then well... anything's possible!
Hmm. Five months, eh? How serendipitous if the new arrival enters this mortal plane of existence on 18 November of all dates. |

Does Amber discuss her issues in her section of the Extraordinary Works of Alan Moore Indispensable Edition?
Have you read it? I had not heard of it before today, but it sounds great. |

If the rest of the 174 pages are as informative as the first 50, I definitely need to acquire a copy of this.

Thank you. HTML Comics is a valuable resource that I wll never again ignore.
Okay, so Amber's a fifty-foot tall bouncer Goth who, in her afterword, comes across as both loving and bitter, ungrateful and slightly sentimental. That is as complicated and honest a description of a parent/child relationship I've read in some time. |

"Alec is my Grandad's name. Neither name is a comics or literary reference. Honest."
OK... mebbe not, then. Welcome to the world, Edward Alec Moore-Reppion - almost a Halloween treat! Heartfelt congratulations and very best wishes to all concerned. |

He likes tea.
I like tea. Not as much, I suspect, as he does. I miss Douglas Adams. I miss him every time I (ill-advisidly ruin the anti-oxidant effect of my tea by pouring in milk at his suggestion/insistence) have a cup of Earl Grey. I still strongly suspect that faeries lived in his beautiful garden. Sigh. |

Wait.
This means Alan Moore is a grandfather. That's slicker than an eel orgy in a butter churn. Congrats Alan... if'n you ever bother with such 21st century silliness as the innerwebbin's. |
