...medium that brought you Gilligan's Island. Hard to believe, but the fact that this show slipped under my radar for so long is almost equally hard to
believe.

I never had any intention of watching The Wire until Moore mentioned it in an interview somewhere. Then, RLS called it "brilliant" and I think that
I'm safe in attributing to the title of this thread to him, as well, if memory serves. At that point, you couldn't have stopped me from watching it.
I'm getting ready to watch the last disc of Season Two tonight. Has anyone else been watching this? |

I've been wireless. I don't watch much TV. Jeopardy once in a while. House M.D. I've been netflixing Heroes... which I'm lukewarm about.
But if Will, RLS, and Affable Al think it's worth a look, I'll track it down. |

Same... don't own a television (ironicals! I'm currently writing and directing the stuff...), but if it's gonna come stamped 'highly
recommended', then I also will look at tracking it down. Off to read some internets reviews thereof now.

Haven't seen any episodes either.
My radar wasn't even plugged in the time it was shown here.

Season one was definitely better than season two, but season two was still both informative and entertaining.
don't own a television (ironicals! I'm currently writing and directing the stuff...),I don't suppose you would care to elaborate on that, Mr. Shea? |

Some of Heroes' episodes aren't for youngsters. They really mess about with the viewer like that. One of the characters can regenerate after an injury.
At one point she wakes up after a while on a mortury slab after the start of her autopsy. Eeep!
So: not for kids. (Depending entirely on the age of said "kids").

Heroes ain't too bad! Well, I watched a reasonable sized chunk of series one. But I had a bad Battlestar Galactica habit at the time which won out
(dvd's are a grand thing in a country where public broadcast is somewhat... limited).
To elaborate a little further, Mr. Will, I am currently helming development of an animated childrens tv property for my employers, having completed a series as layout supe with same company for Nelvana, which was called The Future Is Wild. I believe that series (based upon the 'documentary' series of the same name) is currently on air in the U.S., Sth. America and Europe. I keep myself otherwise happy doing freelance graphic design work, taking photos, and composing soundtracks for experimental/festival circuit animation. I like romantic walks on the beach at dusk, but only if I'm by myself. Other people tend to spoil the mood. What keeps you out of/in trouble? ))

No one's paying me for that, though.
